I realise I'm a damn big liar.

It's been a month after my exams and I haven't posted anything. I've got excuses though! I spent my time watching anime and playing my guitar. For the past month (mid-Oct to now), I've been doing mostly that. And recently I'm spending more than 5 hours on guitar, since I have a three month holiday from Nov to whole of Jan, until my school starts. When it does, I'll be in JC, Junior College. From what I hear from my seniors and teachers, it's hell. So must enjoy while I can.

Anyways, my results... Satisfactory. I'm not too pleased, but happy that I have passed all subjects. I have pretty low targets, because the higher you aim, the larger the pain felt when you don't achieve it (and for me, a high chance of not achieving).

We are graded by a different grading system from most Singapore schools; we take the IB exam, two years from now (for me)

Language Arts - 5
Higher Chinese - 5
Introduction to Human Societies - 7
Physics - 7
Chemistry - 7
Biology - 7
Core Mathematics - 6
Advanced Mathematics - 7

And there's 3 bonus points for ISO and POD(TOK), so a total of 41.

It says a lot when my LA has the same score as my chinese, though. Its time to buck up. My Chinese never improved, so it can only mean that my LA has weakened. It's also stupid that my Core Math (elementary math) is worse than my Adv math (Additional math). Guess I have a lot of brushing up to do.

But now is not the time. It's time to enjoy life to the fullest, the last holidays which I can actually enjoy. Next year at this time, I'll probably be rushing through my project work (Extended Essay) and at this time in Yr Six, I'll be taking the IB exams. After which, enlistment into army, and then the beginning of college (if I actually manage to enter) and work life. That means no more end-of-year holidays.

Damn. I hate growing up. I don't even know what I want to do with my life.

Anyways, I am uploading the pictures of the Shanghai trip. Wish I could go back to that time. Ah well. Anyway, expect 100+ pictures to appear. I made the promise, I shall keep it.

And yeah the exams are finally over.

I don't want to think about it. It's too late too anyway. I'll have to face my results soon, this Friday, so I shall enjoy these few days first before this Friday. Photos are being uploaded, but my busy schedule AFTER the exams which extends INTO THE JUNE HOLIDAYS may prevent me from uploading any faster. Holidays indeed -.-

Yesterday I went to east coast park to cycle with my friends. Without knowing it I cycled from East Coast Park to Changi Beach (and saw many planes flying away from Changi Airport), and then from Changi Beach towards Pasir Ris, and Tampines, then Bedok Park, before reaching East Coast Park again. According to my friend that's around 40 km, and never in my life have I cycled/walked/ran that huge distance before. We started at around 1.15pm and reached at around 6.30pm, when the sky slowly turned dark. My legs still hurt, and I remember halfway through the journey I had to switch to a low gear (which was quite slow) because my legs simply did not have the strength anymore.

So that was my one-day holiday (it was a school marking day). Quite fun, but tiring and I remember being very angry at the fact that the journey was so long, but I couldn't do anything because I was slow....

Great. Excellent.

I just typed out a post about my post exam activities and blogger failed to post it online, saying something about conflicting edits -.- Life sucks.

Anyway right after the exams I started playing my guitar again (and within two week the strings are rusting badly again) and I jammed with my friends once.

Following that week I had a NCC attachment course that allowed my friends and I to ride on the Chinook helicopter and fly a helicopter simulator. That took up three days of this week.

After which, I had yet another NCC activity - paintball shooting. We were to take down other schools by shooting them and capturing a flag. This was supposed to take place on thursday but it rained heavily and consequently it was postponed to friday.

On friday I received my examination results. I passed all my subjects including chinese :) but my final year average percentage dropped to 78% :(
After receiving the results we then went for the paintball competition. However, my school's NCC air unit which I am in ended up competing with my school's sea unit. Hence we destroyed each other, with them winning the first round and us winning the second round, and both of us were kicked out from the finals. Luckily the bruise I received from being shot on the arm has disappeared.

One more week to a two-month holiday! :) But somewhere in between, I'm taking my chinese O Levels examinations... May fail that one :(
