Ah.

Took leave for today, since I had a slight sore throat and my freaking large ulcer stops me from communicating with the others. And I had to go to the doctor's for a flu jab. 

Woke up in the morning and rinsed my mouth with saturated salt water (on purpose) in an attempt to destroy the ulcer. Apparently the pain has decreased but it's still there. Added some cream on it afterwards to speed up the healing of the ulcer.

After torturing myself through having breakfast (swallowing was still a difficult thing to do), I rested until 12pm when I went to the doctor. Had a flu jab (ouch) and I was given more cream to heal the ulcer. 

When I headed back home I was freaking desperate so I decided to put salt directly onto my ulcer. It did not hurt until 3 seconds later when the pain set in. More horrible than the pain from the jab. And interestingly my lower lip bled for no reason. And the ulcer shrank such that it becomes half as large as before. Cool. Yet the pain's still there.

I spent the rest of the afternoon jamming on my guitar and trying to perfect the technique of sweep picking, a method to play lightning fast arpeggios on the electric guitar with clear notes without having the notes ring into each other. A really difficult technique. So far I can only do 3 strings arpeggios. =(

Later at night before I sleep, I shall rinse my mouth in salt water again. Tomorrow morning if the ulcer is still there I will apply the salt directly to the ulcer to cure it as well as wake me up in the morning.
