Last friday, for NCC, my whole flight was supposed to fly a toy aeroplane attached to a string for fun. The weather wasn't on our side, so we ended up doing drills instead. However we did have a lot of fun doing the drills. We had new staff sergeants, and our present staff sergeant wanted to tell how good they were, so he told us to do every single drill wrongly and adjust without permission. The first staff sergeant wasn't really good, all he did was shout "You think this is a joke is it?" and he only shouted once. We weren't allowed to do push-ups, so he made up do 40 sit-ups, and we started counting from ten. He told us to start counting from -60 all the way to 40, and we counted one sit up as 40 sit ups. Apparently he didn't care, and told us to recover.
Then our sirs came. We continued doing every drills wrongly, and we got punished by them although they knew that we were just testing whether the new staff sergeants were good...
After they left, we had another new staff sergeant. This one was more fierce, and we were told to screw up every drill again. He didn't punish us, actually, but shouted at us.
