Wow.

Today was the day the charity cafe took place. Charity cafe is some event where Year 1 pupils cook food and sell them to earn money for charity. My group of ten pupils sold fishballs, nuggets, chicken cocktails and potato wedges. Didn't sell much for the first hour but business became better afterwards. Earned $100. Haha. Also, we used another group's oven, and then there were fries ON the nichrome wire, so after a while, the fries caught fire... ... On the downside, I got burnt by an oven twice on the same spot of the same finger. Ow.

After school, I was selected to swim for my class in an inter-class swimming competition along with other pupils, two of which are swimmers and one from water polo CCA. Well, we managed to get the fourth position out of the year 1 classes, but we will only get into the finals on Saturday if we are among the top 8 of the Year 1 to Year 4 cohort. Hell, that's something quite hard to achieve.

So... ... Quite hard to admit it, but today's a good day indeed.

=D

Finally!!!

My blog thingy has been back to normal. I can now upload pictures!

If you need to find a solution, here it is.

Tools -> Internet Options
Click on "Connections" page tab
Click on "LAN Settings" button (if you are using Broadband)
Check "Use a proxy server for your LAN ..." checkbox
PLUS uncheck the other 2 options on top
Click on "Advanced" button
Under HTTP type, input "proxy.singnet.com.sg" for proxy address and "8080" for port

Of course, I got this from somewhere. Here's the link: http://sporecowboy.blogspot.com/2007/05/solution-for-singnet-problem-on.html

:)

Today, there was this swimming competition in my school. I was involved in it. However, I don't know how to jump off the raised platform. How embarrassing. I clocked 49 seconds for 50m Breaststroke. Hell, that was damn slow.

Tomorrow, I'm going to sell food! Not for personal gain, but for charity... ... Hope I earn alot of money. :)

Well, it's a long time since I've updated this blog.

That's because nothing interesting happened so far.

Wait, there was one. A fire extinguisher blew up in my school at a classroom. Ok, it didn't really blow up, but it filled the entire level with white smoke (the fire extinguisher is the dry powder type). Amazing.

That was the only interesting thing that happened this week.

Therefore, this week's a bad week.

Anyway, there's a problem with this blogger interface. I am typing in the html format. Hell.

Ok, today was normal (it was bad, but some good things did happen, therefore it is normal)

First, the bad stuff. First I realised I never brought my chinese textbook and workbook. Hell. What's the punishment? Copy the entire passage that we were learning.

Monday's round the corner, and on that damn monday, my group has to act in a trailer which is graded. Lit teacher made me the leader. So, with not many people co-operating and running off to play chess, and act WITHOUT emotions, how to pass? Sure die.

Another thing, I was collecting and taking down all the information I obtained through my own crafted surveys. Hell, I realised some of the options I wrote were wrong. I'm doomed. Hell.

Lastly, my locker still stink from my neighbour's rotting vegetables which he left in his locker for the whole June holidays.

And the good stuff? ONE ONLY.

I cheated a little while doing CIP which was to clean up the entire school. Did 30 minutes, the other 1h 30min my friends and I played soccer. Ha! Two hours of CIP just by doing 30min of it.

So, four bad and one good...

Today's a bad day.

Hello. In the previous post, I wanted to put this in, but I forgot... ...

Here's the link.

http://www.naturalnews.com/026503_pandemic_swine_flu_bioterrorism.html

Look at the words at the end. I think you know what the article is all about.

Well, basically, this journalist is pressing charges against the WHO and UN I think, if I read it properly. The journalist says it's bioterrorism. I don't know whether it's true or not.

Another thing. According to New Scientist Magazine (I received free newletters on email), the H1N1 flu virus has grown a resistance against Tamiflu. The other drug, which I don't know the name, is still working. I think this was in Denmark. Imagine the resistant virus spreading around and then mutating. We get to experience something like the Spanish Flu. No more sorrows. You're in heaven. If we're lucky enough, it will not mutate until it's as deadly as the Spanish Flu.

I'm not sure if there was a mutation already. According to Straits Times, I remember reading somewhere a woman in Shanghai (I think) has H1N1, and then it mutated, and it contained one protein (or other thingy) which was present in the Spanish Flu virus, subtype H1N1 as well. I remember H1N1 is an unstable subtype and it will mutate.

Well... ... I guess we're at the start of the real pandemic. The second wave. It's either we survive, or we get endless peace and happiness somewhere else.

Well, today was a somewhat stressful day. And tomorrow too.

So, I had to do my math, type out a research report for the school, send a copy of my survey to my friend for printing, and later to come up with some sentences about my mum. Hell.

Next day. Youth Day Celebration. How is it a youth day celebration tomorrow with me having to wear casual clothes there (feels awkward) and me having to report to school damn early just to collect an envelope for the class to put in money for donations? And then I'll have to collect tokens for my class as well. Hell.

Today was made worse in the morning when I figured out I didn't bring my thermometer. Luck was on my side, and the teacher did not know I did not bring a thermometer and therefore I did not take my temperature. Hell. If you were to tell the teacher you don't have a thermometer, you need to buy one. I wouldn't waste money buying another one.

And then my eyes felt warm, I felt freaking sleepy. Last time I had these symptoms, I went to the school nurse, and realised I had a fever. Insisted on not going home. Later I made the mistake of eating rice. Mum said it increases your body temperature. So the nurse called my dad. I was sent home. So today I thought I was sick. But I couldn't tell. I did not have any thermometer. Luckily I felt better the next day.

And tomorrow. My chinese teacher told us to describe my mum in front of the class. In chinese. I'm doomed. But she will choose a person to describe that person's mum. Hell. Last time my new music teacher wanted one of us to rap together with an audio track. She chose a register number. I prayed hard she didn't call my register number. But she did. Hell.

I'd guess Daniel Powter's right. I did have a bad day.

Wow. So today... It's a normal school day. I tore up another can again... (And it's a freaking bad day today.)

First was my friend who persistently wanted to borrow money from me. Then back in the classroom, a quarrel and fight. Damn.

And when I reach home, my textbook cut me. (Papercut). Blood flowed out. Just how thin is my skin?

Damn.
